Pour son tout premier documentaire de 28 minutes, La Liberté s’est associée à Pop Productions. REFUGE raconte le quotidien d’une famille de réfugiés ukrainiens au Manitoba, depuis leur arrivée à l’aéroport, jusqu’à la recherche d’un appartement ou encore l’apprentissage d’une nouvelle langue. Sans omettre d’observer avec beaucoup de pudeur les impacts de la guerre sur cette famille écartelée. Se dresse alors un portrait authentique de ces vies déconstruites en recherche d’un nouveau souffle, baignant dans l’incertitude.

La Liberté has partnered with POP PROD for its very first 28-minute documentary, REFUGE. The documentary tells the story of a family of Ukrainian refugees in Manitoba, from their arrival at the airport to their search for an apartment and learning a new language. Without forgetting to observe with great modesty the impact of the war on this divided family. This is an authentic portrait of these deconstructed lives in search of a new beginning, surrounded by uncertainty.
