Following the death of her sister, Frédérique is unexpectedly given custody of her six-year-old niece, Rosie, 6, an Indigenous orphan. Reluctant and confused by this new responsibility, Fred considers solutions with her friends Flo and Mo. Despite the hardships, this special family manages to take care of the smart little girl.
