SCHOOL PROGRAM

October 23 to the 26 and October 30 to the 31, 2023.

CINÉMENTAL is pleased to present the films chosen for its 2023 school program which will take place from October 23 to 26 and October 30 to 31 at the Grant Cinema (Landmark Cinemas 8 Grant Park). 

 

TIME

Screenings are at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on October 23 to 26 and October 30 to 31, 2023.

*There may be exceptions with negotiations, for example a screening at 10:15 a.m.

COST

The price per student is set at $6.00. The number of places is limited. Be sure to reserve a specific number of seats. Cinémental reserves the right to demand payment for the number of reserved seats, regardless of the number of students present. We accept payment by credit card, check and cash (not by money order).

​

CINÉMENTAL will reimburse bus transportation costs. Please submit an invoice to Cinémental, c/o afradet@outlook.com, before Friday, November 24, 2023. Reimbursements will not be processed after this date.

To participate, please complete the registration form (available in French only).

PLEASE NOTE

  • The doors to the cinema hall will close as soon as the film starts. We cannot accept any delay. There will be limited time between performances. The Grant Cinema will assign a minimum of staff to screenings.

  • The food counter will be closed for the school program. It is forbidden to bring food and drink into the cinema halls. School personnel accompanying students should remind them to bring everything with them when leaving to ensure that subsequent groups arrive in a clean room. The cinema can accommodate people with reduced mobility, wheelchair or motorized wheelchair.

In 1940, Jules goes to live with his family at his uncle Jovite, in northern Quebec. The 9-year-old boy suffers from a disease that affects his arms. One day, with his dog in the forest, he meets by chance a young girl, Asha, of Indigenous descent. They go on an adventure together in search of a cure.

Max, 12, and his father move to the countryside, near their family. Along with his cousin Charles, accompanied by a neighbor, Alice, and a former farmer, they set up a business of three hundred laying hens. Faced with many obstacles, will they succeed in saving Coco Ferme?
