Monika Pilon
Actor, role of Julie in MENTEUSE (COMPULSIVE LIAR 2)
Friday, October 10, at 7 p.m.
Monika Pilon is a graduate of the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec (2012). She is an actress, writer, web content creator, and improviser. Her screen credits include the film Le Guide de la famille parfaite and the popular 2020 holiday ads for Lait. She brought humor to audiences through her role as the delightfully over-the-top real estate agent Karoll-Ann Lapoynte-St-Jacques in Le Bonheur (TVA), and as Charlotte in Season 3 of Sans rendez-vous. On stage, she’s been a standout in Revue et Corrigée for the past four years. In 2024, she took on the role of Dolorès in the solo play Bachelor—a classic of Québec theatre by Louis Saïa, Louise Roy, and Michel Rivard. She also appears in the upcoming film Menteuse, directed by Émile Gaudreault.



Fabrice Yvanoff Sénat
Actor, role of young Reynold in LE DERNIER REPAS (THE LAST MEAL)

Fabrice Yvanoff Sénat graduated from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal in 2020. Since then, he has quickly established himself in Québec’s arts scene, with standout performances in several television series, including Désobéir : Le choix de Chantale Daigle, Stat, Anticosti, and Sortez-moi de moi. On the big screen, he plays a lead role in Le dernier repas de Maryse Legagneur, and appears in Norbourg by Maxime Giroux, as well as Cœur de Slush, the film adaptation of Sarah-Maude Beauchesne’s novel. On stage, Fabrice’s range is remarkable - he moves seamlessly from youth theatre (Hégémonie by Maxime Mompérousse), to performance art (Cabaret Noir by Mélanie Demers), to classical theatre (Macbeth directed by Robert Lepage), which will be presented at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde and Le Diamant in Québec City in winter 2026.



Guillaume Sylvestre
Screenwrite and director of MATIMEKUSH

Guillaume Sylvestre is a director, screenwriter and cameraman. He has more than twenty feature-length documentaries to his credit, several of which have been selected for prestigious festivals. These include DPJ (2017), La poudre aux yeux (2017), Le steakhouse (2014), Secondaire V (2013), Sauvage (2011) and Durs à cuire (2007). Among other projects, he directed the captivating series Expédition extrême (Z Télé, 2017-2020), winner of a 2019 Gémeaux Award. In 2022 and 2023, Guillaume directed four documentary films based on the series La Plus Belle Province, Les moyens de la classe moyenne and La grande démission. Guillaume also wrote and directed his first feature film, 1er Amour, in 2013.
An experienced and calm leader who is not afraid to take risks, Guillaume is always fully committed to the projects he accepts, putting all his talents to work without reserve. His impressive track record, marked by numerous directing challenges, is the best testament to his ability to see all types of projects through to completion, even the most daring ones.



Maxine Denis
Actor, role of Bassima in LE VENTRE DE BASSIMA

Maxine Denis is a Lebanese-Canadian actress known for her lead roles as Dalia in Polarized (2023, VOD), Paige in MFK (2023, Tubi & Crave), and Bassima in Le Ventre de Bassima. She also stars as Aleah in Celestine, a visually stunning coming-of-age film currently in post-production. On television, she has appeared in Pillow Talk (Crave) and Transplant (CTV & NBC).
Drawing on her bicultural background and fluency in four languages - English, Arabic, French, and Spanish - Maxine brings passion and precision to every project. Her work spans film, television, animation, voiceover, narration, and video games, and she has built a solid presence in both Canadian and international markets. Maxine is represented by Bellini Talent in Montréal, The Characters in Toronto, and Authentic Talent in Los Angeles. She continues to actively pursue her career, auditioning and promoting her work wherever opportunity calls.
