François Péloquin
Réalisation de La fonte des glaces // Director of The Thawing of Ice

Après des études en Sciences politiques à l’UQAM, François Péloquin s’est orienté vers les communications en participant à La Course Destination Monde de Radio-Canada en 1997. Il a ensuite réalisé de nombreux projets tant à la télévision qu’au cinéma. Le bruit des arbres est son premier long métrage de fiction et il réalise, en 2024, La fonte des glaces.
After studying Political Science at UQAM, François Péloquin turned to communications when he took part in Radio-Canada's Destination Monde race in 1997. He went on to direct a number of television and film projects. Le bruit des arbres (The Sound of Trees) was his first feature film, and in 2024, he directed La fonte des glaces (The Thawing of Ice).

Réalisation de Rêver en néon // Director of Neon Dreaming

Marie-Claire est une réalisatrice, scénariste, productrice et actrice. Son premier long-métrage, "Rêver en néon", basé sur sa pièce de théâtre, "Flush", sera présenté en première internationale au festival Tallinn Black Nights en novembre 2024. Son court-métrage, "Petits corps pileux", a été mis en nomination au Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma pour le Meilleur film, et le premier court-métrage qu'elle a produit et dans lequel elle a joué, "She Sings for Me", s’est rendu au Festival de Cannes dans le cadre de la sélection Talent Tout Court de Téléfilm. L'écriture de Marie-Claire a été récompensée aux Los Angeles Film Awards, aux Canadian Screen Awards, à l'International Academy of Web Television pour ses courts-métrages et ses web-séries. Elle a participé à des résidences d'écriture au Canada, en Belgique, en France et en Martinique. Deux de ses pièces, publiées aux Éditions L'Interligne, ont été primées et nominées au Canada et en France.
Marie-Claire is a director, screenwriter, producer and actress. Her first feature film, “Rêver en néon”, based on her play, “Flush”, will have its international premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights festival in November 2024. Her short film, “Petits corps pileux”, was nominated at Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma for Best Film, and the first short film she produced and starred in, “She Sings for Me”, made it to the Cannes Film Festival as part of Telefilm's Talent Tout Court selection. Marie-Claire's writing has won awards at the Los Angeles Film Awards, the Canadian Screen Awards and the International Academy of Web Television for her short films and web series. She has taken part in writing residencies in Canada, Belgium, France and Martinique. Two of her plays, published by Éditions L'Interligne, have won awards and nominations in Canada and France.

Corey Loranger est un acteur, producteur et animateur bilingue. Il a joué dans des productions primées telles que The Pharmacist et Drawing Home, remportant le prix du Meilleur acteur au Edmonton International Film Festival. En tant que producteur, il a co-créé les séries primées Sel et Diesel et Abigaëlle, la première série de fiction francophone en Alberta. Il est aussi l’hôte d’événements majeurs comme ceux des Edmonton Oilers et de la Coupe du Monde FIFA, et a été reconnu dans le Top 40 under 40 d’Avenue Edmonton pour son engagement envers la francophonie.
Corey Loranger is a bilingual actor, producer, and emcee. Henri Pardo

Né au Nouveau-Brunswick de parents haïtiens, Henri Pardo est le scénariste et réalisateur de "Kanaval". Ce film a remporté le Prix du Public Air Canada au Festival de films Cinémania en 2023. Kanaval a remporté le 2023 Amplify Voices Award for best BIPOC Canadian Feature, ainsi qu'une mention honorable pour meilleur film canadien à la 29e édition Toronto International Film Festival en 2023. Il est également nominé quatre fois au Prix Écrans canadiens dont meilleur premier long-métrage et meilleur réalisateur.
Henri est coproducteur, réalisateur et coscénariste de "Afro-Canada", une série documentaire sur l’histoire des Afro-Canadiens, en nomination au Gémeaux de 2023. Il tourne en 2020 et 2021, le long métrage documentaire, "Dear Jackie", en partenariat avec Documentary Channel (CBC) et produit par CatBird Productions. Le film est projeté en 2021 et 2022 dans les salles de cinéma et en festivals, et remporte le prix Magnus Isacsson au RIDM de 2021. Le film est diffusé sur CBC/Gem depuis février 2023 et reçoit trois nominations au Prix Écrans canadiens 2023.
En 2019, Henri produit et réalise une première série documentaire intitulée "Black Wealth Matters". Il réalise également le documentaire "Afro-Prospérité" diffusé sur ICI Télé et Tou.tv, produit par Black Wealth Media, une société de production qu’il a fondée en 2016. Henri est diplômé de l’Institut national de l’image et du son (INIS) et est membre fondateur de Black on Black Films.
Born in New Brunswick of Haitian parents, Henri Pardo is the writer and director of “Kanaval”. The film won the Air Canada Audience Award at the 2023 Cinémania Film Festival. Kanaval won the 2023 Amplify Voices Award for best BIPOC Canadian Feature, as well as an honorable mention for best Canadian film at the 29th Toronto International Film Festival in 2023. It was also nominated four times for the Canadian Screen Awards, including Best First Feature and Best Director.
Henri is co-producer, director and co-writer of “Afro-Canada”, a documentary series on the history of Afro-Canadians, nominated for a Gémeaux in 2023. In 2020 and 2021, he shot the feature documentary, “Dear Jackie”, in partnership with Documentary Channel (CBC) and produced by CatBird Productions. The film is shown in theatres and festivals in 2021 and 2022, and wins the Magnus Isacsson Award at the 2021 RIDM. The film has been broadcast on CBC/Gem since February 2023 and receives three nominations for the 2023 Canadian Screen Award.

Jonathan Beaulieu-Cyr

Jonathan Beaulieu-Cyr détient un baccalauréat en Film Production du Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema et une maîtrise en création de l’Université Concordia. Ses recherches universitaires ont porté sur la scénarisation et l’étape du développement dans le cinéma de fiction. Scénariste, réalisateur et producteur, il est aussi co-fondateur de l’entreprise de production cinématographique Sans Rancoeur Films. Il fait partie de l'équipe de création derrière le long-métrage Mad Dog Labine, prix Gilles-Carle 2019 et le court-métrage Écume, prix Iris du meilleur court-métrage en 2020. Son premier long-métrage comme scénariste et réalisateur, Phénix, raconte son vécu en tant que fils de soldat canadien.
Jonathan Beaulieu-Cyr holds a BFA in Film Production from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema and an MFA in Creative Writing from Concordia University. His academic research has focused on screenwriting and the development stage in fiction cinema. Writer, director and producer, he is also co-founder of the film production company Sans Rancoeur Films. He is part of the creative team behind the feature film Mad Dog Labine, Prix Gilles-Carle 2019, and the short film Écume, Prix Iris for Best Short Film in 2020. His first feature film as writer and director, Phénix, recounts his experiences as the son of a Canadian soldier.
